CODESYS Academy Training V2.3 (online/onsite)

A training course from the "CODESYS Academy" series. The original from the CODESYS manufacturer.
The training is held by an experienced instructor. To facilitate the transfer of knowledge, the theoretical part is followed by practical exercises. Use cases are used to demonstrate how the tool can be used.

Training content:

Introduction to the IEC 61131-3 standard:

• Data declaration
• Programming rules
• Program structure

Introduction to the syntax and semantics of the 5 IEC programming languages:

• Instruction list (IL)
• Structured text (ST)
• Ladder diagram (LD)
• Function block diagram (FBD)
• Sequential Function Chart (AS)
• Continuous Function Chart (CFC)

Introduction to the predefined POUs (libraries). Introduction to the following data types:

• Standard data types
• Defined data types such as arrays, structures, enumeration types etc.
• I/O configuration

A virtual desktop is made available to all participants for exercises during online training. This desktop is accessed via a browser. This allows the trainer to look over the participants' shoulders virtually in order to provide them with individual support during the training.

Overview of the following CODESYS functions:

• Task configuration
• Trace configuration
• Online functionality (breakpoints, forcing values)
• Management of various watchlists and recipes

Overview of the following CODESYS operators:

• REAL operators

Introduction to the IEC standard library (string functions, triggers, counters, timers) and the creation of individual internal libraries.
