CODESYS Academy Training V2 to V3 Skill up (online/onsite)

The training is held by an experienced instructor. To facilitate the transfer of knowledge, the theoretical part is followed by practical exercises. Use cases are used to demonstrate how the tool can be used.
The training is based on the IEC 61131-3, 3, edition standard.

The first two days focus on the functions of CODESYS V3 and the differences to V2.3. Participants will be familiarized with the following functions and features:

• Project import
• Project handling
• diagnostics
• Backup and restore
• Hardware configuration
• CODESYS editors

The following visualization features are discussed:

• Basic elements
• Placeholder concept
• Available visualization clients
• Language switching

Also included: a brief introduction to object-oriented programming

The third day focuses on the creation of standard libraries. Participants will be familiarized with the following features of library development and documentation:

• Creating CODESYS libraries
• Managing different library types
• Introduction to the library for "Common Behavior Model"
• Management of library users

At the special request of the participants, the training can also focus on specific areas of programming with CODESYS V3.

A virtual desktop is made available to all participants for exercises during online training. This desktop is accessed via a browser. This allows the trainer to look over the participants' shoulders virtually in order to provide them with individual support during the training.
