The CODESYS Group has a new leader at the top of its Sales team since mid-October: Boris Schuster is the new Head of Sales.
Schuster has been with CODESYS since 1998. Not only does he know the products inside out, but he is also very well connected – both within the Corporate Group with its subsidiaries in Italy, China, and the USA, and with its business partners.
After graduating from the Technical University of Munich with a degree in electrical engineering, Schuster spent several years developing hardware and software – including at CODESYS – before taking over as Head of Support there. He has been working in Sales since 2011, where he has proven extremely successful as Area Sales Manager and Manager Sales Channels.
How does Boris Schuster approach his new position as Head of Sales at the internationally active CODESYS Group? “I will draw fully on my experience in both the technical and sales areas,” Schuster points out. His initial goal is to strengthen the CODESYS brand in the field and to establish it even more broadly as THE standard – in a wide range of areas from factory automation and process automation to the automation of energy generation and distribution. Schuster is convinced: “With new technologies such as virtualization or the global networking of automation systems, we can achieve many goals that seemed out of reach just a few years ago. This way, we help to make the world – and I don't just mean the world of automation – a little bit easier to handle and therefore a little bit better.”
