CODESYS Academy Training V3 Application Composer (online/onsite)

The training is performed by an instructor. Throughout the training, theoretical parts are followed by practical exercises to facilitate knowledge transfer. Use cases are explored to demonstrate how the tool can be applied.

The participant will become familiar with the following features of CODESYS Application Composer:

• Concept
• Module tree
• Technology module
• Slot/multi-slot
• Parameter
• I/Os
• Page & embedded visu
• Proxy communication
• Source template

The training targets device manufacturers and machine manufacturers who need help when setting up:

• Customized serial machines with a machine configuration assembly directly from the sales process
• Special machines or plants constructed from recurring units
• Systems constructed from many basic modules of the same type (e.g. in building automation or process technology)

For the application engineers, the use case is an efficient and intelligent software design and reuse of code for similar applications or applications with many basic modules of the same type (without copy and paste).

A virtual desktop is available to each participant for exercises at online courses. This desktop can be accessed with a browser, allowing the trainer to look over the shoulder of the participants and provide individual support.
